Guidelines for Authors

the guidelines for authors are as follows;

The research articles submitted for publication should be original research in Online and Digital education including other related fields provided that they have not been published or being considered for publication elsewhere.

It will be compulsory to follow the format of APA 7th Manual.
Prepare manuscripts according to the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association using the 7th edition. Manuscripts may be copyedited for bias-free language (see Chapter 5 of the Publication Manual). The TITLE, AUTHOR(S) NAME(S) with ADDRESS (ES), CORRESPONDING AUTHOR E-MAIL will be written in the format as given below.

Article Format
The main structure/style of the manuscript (sub-headings are optional) shall be as follows:

1. Title (font size 13, Times New Roman):
Active verbs are used instead of complex noun-based phrases. It is around 10 to 12 words long and summarizes the main idea or ideas of the study.
2. The ABSTRACT should describe briefly the research problem, purpose of study, research design, key findings and the recommendation up to a maximum of 250 words.
3. Keywords (Five to seven):
It does not use words or phrases from the title and supplements the title's contents. These are descriptive, representing key concepts and nouns.
4. The INTRODUCTION (and background):
It describes the purpose, scope, context, significance, background, hypothesis(es), question(s), brief methodology, outcome(s), and outline of the remaining structure/organization of the article.
5. Literature Review (relevant literature/sources)
It gives description, summary, and critical evaluation of sources explored in relation with research problem(s) being investigated.
6. Conceptual and Theoretical Framework (or Model):
The conceptual framework presents/makes the construction of the study clearer, cleaner, and more straightforward; and the theoretical framework within it explains the relationships that are explored within the study.
7. Research Methodology (methods and materials):
It describes the actions taken for investigation of the research problem and the rationale for the application of the specific procedures or techniques used to identify, select, process, and analyze the information applied to understanding the problem.
8. Analysis and Results (if applicable):
It reports the results of the study based upon the methodology(ies) being applied, and in a logical sequence without bias or interpretation, if data is generated from the author’s own research.
9. Discussion (and findings):
It interprets and describes the significance of findings in light of what was already known about research problem(s). It explains new understanding or insights being emerged based on studying the problem. It is connected to introduction through research questions or hypothesis(es) and the literature reviewed.
10. Conclusion (suggestions and future direction):
It helps the readers to understand why the research should matter to them. It gives a synthesis of key points and, (if applicable), suggests new areas for future research.
11. References (list of cited sources):
It contains a list of updated published and unpublished material on the topic including research articles from internationally reputed journals especially those indexed in WOS, Scopus etc., along with the DOI or web address.

i. The research articles text should be typed in single spacing. The margin shall be one inch on each side. The size of the paper A4 with width 8.27" and height 11.69" and the font must be Times New Roman with size 10.
ii. The article can be submitted to the OJS or sent to [email protected]
iii. Plagiarism of the manuscript will be checked as per the rules defined by Higher Education Commission, Pakistan using “Turnitin” software.
iv. Author’s declaration that manuscript is not submitted or under cosideration for publication anywhere else is required.
v. The enrolment of Reviewers / Referees is always encouraged. All those interested to take part as Reviewers / Referees can apply on Plain Paper or via an email on the above-written email address. It nominated all Reviewers / Referees must send their recommendations about the publication of a particular Article, on specific Performa available on official JODE website
